About
The .exposed network
A set of independent sites that each track one subject from named public sources, and this hub that shows them together.

What it is
Each site researches and publishes documented issues in its subject, daily, with every record scored under a published rubric and tied to its sources. The hub reads one small file from each site and shows the headline fact, the sources and a shared map. The sites and the hub follow the same standards.
Sites
- water.exposed: U.S. water issues, by state.
- waste.exposed: U.S. waste, recycling and waste-to-energy, by state.
- oceans.exposed: marine and coastal issues across 32 regional seas and the high seas.
How a site joins
- Follow the standards and keep a full, sourced data set that can be shared on request.
- Publish a stats file and a map layer under the contract.
- Carry the shared network bar and footer strip.
- Ask to be added to the registry through the request form.
Data, corrections and contact
The data behind the hub and the sites is available in JSON on request. Questions, corrections and join requests go through the same request form; a person reads every message.
What this is not
Not a census of every issue in any subject. Not a ranking of places or sites. Not advice. Each site states its coverage limits on its own pages.
